The only place in Uganda where you see one of the Big Five .The Rhino in their natural habitat is Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Rhino is the second largest of the land animals, over 40 mammals and reptilian’s species can be found at this sanctuary including monkeys, antelopes, hippopotamus and crocodiles. You can also enjoy birding at the sanctuary, canoe rides and nature walks. Other than Rhino tracking you can have sightseeing of the beautiful archaic looking shoebills.

early morning our driver will pick you from the airport or booked accommodation with a Safari vehicle to Ziwa Sanctuary. Reach the place at midday.
At around 2pm, will set off for Rhino tracking with an experience Rhino Ranger. The tracking time will vary according to where Rhinos are situated but you will be able to enjoy and hour with close vicinity of the Rhinos once found. After tracking then return for dinner at the accommodation.
Early morning at 6:30am. You will depart for birding. The shoebill stock is one of the most sought-after birds in Uganda. Ziwa Rhino sanctuary affords a rare opportunity to observe these prehistoric looking birds which nestled with their wetlands. Water birds are plentiful and this early morning canoes safari is a must for anyone who loves nature or is interested in birding. Your canoe trip should take between 3 to 4 hours.
1:00pm you will have lunch before turning back to Kampala. The end of the trip
