Overview

Murchison falls national park is the oldest and biggest savvana park in Uganda located in the North Western park of The country that is in Pakwach, This park is approximently 320km from Kampala center. Its commonly now for the iconic thundering and strongest falls in the world knowns as Murchison Falls. This park is a habitant of a vareity of wild animals such as the big four i.e Buffaloes, Elephants, Lions, Leopard and the other animal the rhino to complete the Big 5 circle can be sighted at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary still under this 2days package.

Day 1 Transfer to Murchison Falls Park and Ziwa Rhino

Early morning our driver guide will pick you up from the hotel the transferred to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track the Rhinos as this is the only reserve for Rhinos in Uganda due resulted from high extinction and poaching of Rhinos. This tracking will done at midday for like 1;30hrs then continue with the journey to Murchison falls Park. Reach the Main gate we start our drive through in one of the biggest tropical rainforest called Budongo forest and here our speed will be reduced for about 40km/hr. upto the VIC of the park then head to our lodge for check in.

Day 2 Game drive and Boat cruise in Murshison falls park

Very early morning we shall pack our breakfast and we head to Tangi gate where game drives start from then start of for the great game drive in different tracks such as queen track, Albert Track etc looking for big four. Our immediate sight will be the Uganda Kobs, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes as they are many in this park then continues to track the lions and leopards as they hide so much. After this game drive we shall go for a boat cruise towards the bottom of the falls which will takes us 2hrs while sightseeing reptiles like crocodiles sun bathing, Hippos basking, elephants and other animals on the shores of the Nile. This will be ended with the full view of the bottom of the Falls. Then do sun set game drive and return to the hotel.

Day 3 Visit Top of Falls & Return to Kampala

After early morning breakfast, we shall pack our bags and set off. Before exiting the park we shall first visit top of the falls as well shall hike upto the top of the strongest falls in the world and feel the splashing water from the bottom of the falls.
