Our journey shall majorly embark of golden monkey trekking in Mgahinga park or hiking the famous Mt.Sabinyo bordering 3 countries Rwanda, RC and Uganda and also hiking the Mt.Muhavura which is an extinct volcano. The silver back trekking will be an optional at an extra charge. The head to the lava dammed lakes and take cruise with the spectacular views of the islands.
On arrival you will be welcomed by an English-speaking Beverly Safari guide at Entebbe Airport. Then transferred to the client’s booked accommodation in Kampala or Company suggested but paid by clients.
Very early in the morning at around 5am we shall set off for our journey to Mgahinga National Park where Gold meets Silver in Kisoro.
Our 1st stopover will be at masaka for breakfast on highway then proceed with our journey . The next stopover will be for lunch at the safari restaurant according to time pending. On your way you will have sightseeing of the plantations, beautiful hills and terraces in Kigezi highland region with the roads with numerous bends. Then later check in at Lake Mutanda lodge for 2 night stay.

Early morning we shall drive to the Visitor Information center of Mgahing National Park in a Ntebeko commonly known as where Gold meets Silver meaning it’s a habitant for both golden monkeys and one group of gorillas.
Trekking golden Monkeys will be our major activity and hiking Mt.Sabinyo or Gahinga optional but cost covered. Then trekking golden monkeys will take maximum of 5hours and hiking 10hrs.After we shall have Batwa community experience and local ways of life.
In the evening, we shall go to Lake Mutanda which is a valley long dammed lake commonly known as the Switzerland of Africa due to the beautiful islands and sunset horizon with the views of the Virunga mountains. We shall take a boat cruise to navigate the islands and visit the famous punishment island having unique local history. Then return at the lodge for campfire at rest .

After morning breakfast, we shall start the journey back to Kampala-Entebbe Airport. On the way back we shall have sightseeing of the beautiful highlands, Ankole-Masaka dry collidor,The farmlands and the Ankole kingdom cultural dance at Igongo where we shall have a stopover for lunch then proceed to Kampala. On our way we shall stop at the iconic Equator point at Kayabwe in greater Masaka region for photography moments. Then continue to Kampala up to Entebbe Airport for drop off. Here the client is advised to book evening flights.
