5 Days Gorilla Trekking Experience Rwanda Kigali tour starts and ends in Kigali, it will let you track gorillas in volcano national park and a boat ride on lake Kivu .
You will arrive at Kigali Airport and be welcomed by our representative and transferred to our town hotel in Kigali for check in before a pre-safari briefing. The rest of the evening will be at our disposal.

After breakfast we embark go on a guided city tour of Kigali, visiting the Genocide Memorial Center & Inema Arts Center. The development of the city after the 1994 genocide is quite impressive. The ban on the use of plastic bags makes Kigali the cleanest city on the continent. Kigali is also a place where art is thriving. We visit Inema Arts Center one of the art centers in Kigali. After lunch in one of the city restaurants, we drive to the northern town of Ruhengeri just at the foothills of the Virunga Mountains and the Volcano National Park for dinner and overnight at our hotel lodge.

After an early breakfast at 6.00am, we proceed to the park headquarter for a detailed briefing. We are divided into groups of eight and each group is allocated rangers who take us through the forest in search of a Gorilla family allocated to us. The trek may take anything between 2 to 4 hours until we spot the gorillas feasting on bamboo sprouts. We have an hour to observe them in their habitat and take pictures. If everything goes well we will be back at our lodge for a late lunch. In the afternoon we watch the traditional dancers. Dinner and overnight stay will be again at the hotel/lodge.

After a leisurely breakfast we take a 2 hour drive to Gisenye bordering Congo and on the shores of Lake Kivu. We can opt for lunch in one of the town local restaurants or at the hotel. In the afternoon we can choose to just relax on the lake shores or take boat ride on Lake Kivu. Dinner and overnight stay will be at our hotel/resort

After breakfast we drive to Kigali through Rwanda highlands and tea plantation. Depending on our scheduled international flight we can opt for lunch on the way or in Kigali before being dropped off at the airport. Again we shall have a short ride aroud the cleanest city and green city in Africa
